MISSION STATEMENT

To prevent and reduce the onset of alcohol, tobacco, and other drugs among children, youth, and families in Superior

Communities that have a written strategy to reduce alcohol and drug problems report:

Greater citizen involvement
More constructive public policy change
Better access to treatment
Increased diversity of funding sources

We are helping coalitions sustain their community wide strategies help reduce substance use at the local level. Each of us has an important part to play in our community’s efforts to reduce alcohol and drug problems. Parents, professionals, community leaders, youth – there’s a place for anyone who wants to make a difference.

We provide prevention education through Town Hall Events, working with the schools, S.A.D.D. students. We hold Community activities in conjunction with service organizations to disseminate literature and information on programs available. We have had Anti-drug poster contests and essay writing contests. We held our third Cinco De Mayo Celebration alcohol free!
